There are two different manufacturing processes for acrylic: Acrylic is cast (GS) or extruded (XT). You can process both types of acrylic glass excellently with CO2 lasers, however, the manufacturing process requires different material properties. TroGlass XT shows excellent laser cutting properties and is the material of choice when high thickness accuracy is of utmost importance. It is available in clear gloss, in the standard plate size of 1216 x 606 mm and 3 mm thickness.
