How to create an invitation from LaserPaper
Learn how to create an invitation card and a proper wrapping out of Trotec LaserPaper. In our example, we used LaserPaper Colors: Tangerine Red for the card and Metals Galvanized for the wrapping. LaserPaper Colors is especially suitable for laser processing. It is non-fading and easily folds and bends to create shapes. Trotec LaserPaper is available in a variety of shades and thicknesses.
Required material:
1 sheet LaserPaper Tangerine Red
1 sheet LaserPaper Metals Galvanized
Material to cover the working table (e.g. paper)
Machine used: Speedy 360, 100 Watt, 1,5" lens, vacuum table, cutting grid table
This sample can be produced with any other machine of the Speedy Series.
Import our graphic into your graphics program and change the graphic however you like. Select the first part of the graphic and click on “Print”. If the rest of the graphic is still visible in the preview image, click on “Selection” in the print area.
Print Settings:
Process mode: Standard
Resolution: 333 dpi
Cut line: none
Halftone: Color
Others: Optimized geometries, inner geometries first
Insert the LaserPaper sheet "Metals Galvanized", switch on the vacuum, if present, and focus the laser. Position the job on the virtual plate and start the job.

As with almost all materials, a good eshaust system is necessary for a clean cutting edge and engraving.
In addition, you can increase the quality significantly by using a vacuum table. The vacuum allows the material to rest firmly on the table with no creation of waves.
If you don't have a vacuum table, you can use masking tape to attach the paper to the table. You can remove the masking tape from the material without leaving any residues.
Paper allows you to use many different processing methods. With the right parameter settings, you can perforate, scratch, fold and engrave.
