Reverse Engraving for an Elegant Appearance

Reverse engraved signs do not only provide a fresh design but are also very popular due to a smooth surface that allows simple cleaning.

Reverse engraving

Engraving in the reverse is not unlike engraving on the front in the first surface. Materials for this application are usually 2-ply with a clear surface and a coloured layer on the back. By engraving the job mirrored horizontally on the reverse and filling the engraved spots with colour paint, a particulary elegant finish is created.

Infill the design

Infill the engraving with Trotec's range of acrylic paints to create a multicoloured sign or back light for a modern glow. The signage maintains a smooth outer layer offering easy clean properties, perfect for both interior and exterior signage, badges, safety signs and control panels. Alternatives also available for rotary engraving.
