Trotec Laser Digital Print Series convinced the EDP Business Awards jury at FESPA
Wels, 10th of May 2017. Trotec Laser GmbH recieved the prestigious award of the European Digital Press Association (EDP) at the largest international format event – FESPA in Hamburg, Germany. Totec Laser Digital Print Series, as well as the SP2000, were named the winners in their categories "Best Laser cutting systems" and " Best Special application substrate". „We feel very honoured to receive these awards. Both of them show that we meet the extremely high standards and demands of the printing industry. On the one hand with our finishing systems, on the other with our consumables range“, explains Andreas Penz, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Trotec Laser GmbH.
Trotec Laser Digital Print Series is worth of being awarded an EDP Trophy, because this product is suitable to combine the process of digital printing, laser engraving and laser cutting. The surface is pre-treated for superior ink adhesion. The core material is made of impact modified acrylic which makes it the perfect product for a combination of printing, laser engraving and laser cutting. Metallic or colored surfaces can integrated as part of the artwork.
This large format laser cutter is a CO2 laser machine, which is a unique tool for signage and display fittings. On the work area of 1680 mm x 2510 mm, the most diverse materials can be laser-engraved and cut, for example acrylic, wood or textiles.
The EDP Business Awards are a celebration to place the spotlight on those companies and individuals who are truly outstanding in their field. Winners of EDP Business Awards were determined by a panel of independent judges. Out of more than 150 entries finally 31 products were awarded with a trophy in its category.
